Jim Thompson Xanadu Wallpaper - Shell Pink
Jim Thompson Xanadu wallpaper is a screen-printed wallcovering. And the design is derived from one of the many carved Chinese doors in Tony Duquette's Beverly Hills home, Dawnridge.
Duquette loved printed patterns with borders and was always cutting them out and sewing the borders together. Using them for chair skirts and curtains or gluing the borders throughout the room to add architectural interest. This Xanadu wallpaper design captures the pattern of the original carved openwork lacquer doors (with fish and dragons) in a panel print bordered on the sides by a classic fretwork frieze, in a color palette that ranges from soft to bold tones and a cobalt blue-coral red colorway.
Suggestion: The printed fresco border that frames the sides of the wallpaper can be cut off and used to edge the walls in a room that is wallpapered with the main design. A matching printed linen fabric of the same name is offered for additional decorative possibilities.

Voor de meeste behangprojecten raden wij Arte Clear Pro behanglijm aan. Deze lijm is van hoge kwaliteit en geschikt voor verschillende behangsoorten. Controleer altijd de specificaties van jouw behang om te zien of deze lijm geschikt is. Twijfel je? Neem contact met ons op, dan adviseren we je graag.
Voor het beste resultaat raden we aan om de muur zo glad mogelijk te maken voordat je het behang aanbrengt. Als de structuur te grof is, kan dit zichtbaar blijven door het behang heen.
Voor het verwijderen van behang kun je een behangafstomer gebruiken of het behang nat maken met water en een scheutje afwasmiddel. Laat het even intrekken en schraap het behang vervolgens voorzichtig van de muur. Vliesbehang is vaak makkelijker droog te verwijderen.
Dit hangt af van het type behang. Veel behangsoorten zijn licht afneembaar met een droge of licht vochtige doek. Gebruik geen agressieve schoonmaakmiddelen. Kijk altijd in de productinformatie voor specifieke onderhoudsadviezen.
