This design is based on his imagination of Capri, an island he had long been passionate about, even before he actually traveled there. Piero eventually took his family on vacation to this legendary island and even opened a Fornasetti boutique there for a while in the 1960s. The original design combines personified suns and stylized architecture, typical of Fornasetti. The idea of ​​combining personified suns and clouds first appeared in a sketch for a headscarf that Piero drew in 1950. Now it is a playful print that adds a unique idiosyncrasy to any interior.
