LAB Wood Coating is suitable for various applications, such as wooden floors and furniture. LAB Wood Coating is a very strong finish for wooden surfaces and provides optimum protection.
LAB Wood Coating is transparent and consists of two components. This makes the product extremely strong, wear- and scratch-resistant and moisture-resistant. The wood coating is water-based, does not discolour and dries quickly (approximately 3 hours) after application to the wood.

Consumption:
10 to 12 m²/per liter
How do you calculate the required amount of coating?
Measure the length and width of the part you are going to coat, multiply them by each other and then divide by 10-12. Now you have calculated the number of liters you need for 1 layer of coating!
For example: for a wooden surface of 5 mx 2 m (10 m² : 11 m² = 0.9 litres) you need 0.9 litres of Wood Coating for 1 layer (calculated with a consumption of 11 m² per litre). We always recommend applying two layers.
For wooden floors that are subject to the most stress, such as in the living room and kitchen, we recommend 3 layers of coating or 1 layer of stain and 2 layers of coating. For other rooms and/or furniture, the advice for optimal protection is 2 layers of coating or 1 layer of stain and 1 layer of coating.
Preparation for coating wood
Wood needs attention and care to keep it looking nice. Our advice is to degrease the wood well with LAB Paint Cleaner . Then sand it until you see healthy-looking and bare wood. Then you can start transparently coating the wood!
TIP! Choose the matte variant (most sold) of the LAB Wood Coating if you want an "untreated wood look" but still want optimal protection!
Is the wood not quite the right color? You can always stain it with LAB Wood Stain . This stain is available in all colors.
NOTE! This coating is transparent! If you want to stain or varnish the wood in a different color, you can do this before coating.
TIP! See the photo of the kitchen. The kitchen cabinets are stained with Vestingh Floor Stain in the color Pure Black and then coated with the LAB Wood Coating for optimal protection.
